Ran Tellem, one of the world’s most respected television content creators and a Primetime Emmy Award-winning producer on “Homeland”, joined The Mediapro Studio in 2016 as Head of International Content Development to develop original scripted and non-scripted television productions. Since then, Ran Tellem has worked with the Studio producers, showrunners and writers around the world to create and produce new content and formats for distribution worldwide. In The Mediapro Studio, among his most relevant scripted works, he has successfully developed the two seasons of the thriller series “The Head”, whose season 2 has recently release in HBO Max in US and Spain and will be premier around the world in the next months. Following the success of season 1 that was distributed in more than 90 markets around the world; the Latin American thriller production “Código Implacable”, successfully premiered in Claro Video and, among others, the suspense Nordic noir “The Paradise”, also with a second season in production. In the factual side, Tellem is responsible for the creation of formats such as “Crush”, premiered in Spain and launched in several markets; “The Dinner of a Lifetime”, nominated to the International Format Awards as Best Factual Entertainment, and “The Chef’s Disciple”, one of the most successful entertainment programs in Chilevision with four audience-record seasons. Prior to The Mediapro Studio, Tellem was VP Programming of Keshet Broadcasting, where he developed the successful drama “Prisoners of War” (original Israeli version of “Homeland”) and the series “False Flag” or “The A Word”, as well as the entertainment shows “BOOM!”, “Rising Star” and children’s talent show “Master Class”.
