Paul Presburger

Paul Presburger co-founded Globalgate Entertainment and previously served as CEO of Pantelion Films and PantaYa. His leadership was instrumental in establishing both platforms as dominant players in the U.S. Hispanic entertainment sector, ultimately leading to their acquisition by TelevisaUnivision. Prior to these roles, Presburger was EVP of International Business Development for Lionsgate, where he facilitated the company’s growth in international markets. Additionally, he was a key player in the merger between Tiger Gate Entertainment and Celestial Pictures, creating Celestial Tiger Entertainment, a significant entity in Asian media. With early career roots in law, Presburger later transitioned to the entertainment sector, making notable contributions in programming and acquisitions at Columbia TriStar International Television. He holds an MBA from INSEAD, a JD from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA from UCLA. His diverse educational background and comprehensive industry experience make him a uniquely qualified executive.

Meg Thomson

Meg Thomson is currently EVP of Worldwide Content for Globalgate Entertainment, a consortium of companies including Lionsgate, Rai Cinema, Nordisk, TF1, Lotte, Tobis, Rakuten, Televisa and other international distributors and producers to create commercial local-language films.  Most recently, she executive produced the Mexican film SIN HIJOS (2021, Netflix), the Filipino drama WEDDING DRESS (2022, Amazon) and the Vietnamese LOVED CHILD (2022, Lotte), one of the highest grossing movies in Vietnam this year.  Prior to joining Globalgate, Meg was Managing Director of Eccho Remakes, a company which represented the remake rights to international hit movies.

Inicia su experiencia profesional como asistente de producción en Morena Films. En 2004 se incorpora a Latido Films como agente de ventas. En 2008 funda CINEMA REPUBLIC, compañía de ventas internacionales especializada en la representación de derechos de adaptación de películas de éxito como El otro lado de la cama (2002), Pagafantas (2009), O candidato honesto (2014), Ate que a sorte nos separe (2012), Benvenuto Presidente (2013) o My Sassy Girl (2001) colaborando con productoras de todo el mundo.
