Euro Atlantic Series Co-Pro Pitch 2026 Extends Call for Entries Until July 17

The Iberseries & Platino Industria initiative is designed to foster co-production and the international circulation of European series with global appeal.

Iberseries & Platino Industria will keep the call for entries for the Euro Atlantic Series Co-Pro Pitch 2026 open until July 17, 2026. The initiative was created to promote co-production and the international circulation of European fiction series, docuseries, and animated series conceived from the outset to travel across territories and connect with global audiences.

The programme seeks to strengthen cooperation among countries along the European Atlantic axis: Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Ireland, Germany, and Luxembourg, as well as with the Nordic countries and other European territories with a strong Atlantic outlook, such as the United Kingdom.

Serán seleccionados un máximo de siete proyectos de series en fase avanzada de desarrollo, con especial atención a aquellos que presenten un claro potencial de coproducción internacional, una estrategia sólida de financiación y una vocación de circulación global.

Participating projects will have access to an exclusive two-day programme of mentoring, specialised advice and one-to-one personalised meetings with decision-makers from the international audiovisual industry. In addition, those selected will make a final pitch to a specialized audience made up of commissioners, investment funds and potential strategic partners.

The selection committee for this first edition will be made up of renowned professionals from the European audiovisual industry:

  • Laura Miñarro, VP of International Business and Coproduction at Buendía Estudios (Spain).
  • Diego del Pozo, Fiction Manager of Atresmedia Television (Spain).
  • José Fragoso, Director of Programming of RTP1 and RTP Internacional (Portugal).
  • Georges Huercano, Development and Co-Production Manager at RTL (Belgium).

All phases of the programme (registration, presentation of materials, meetings and pitching sessions) must be conducted entirely in English.

To support in-person participation, the organization will cover travel and accommodation expenses for one representative per selected project and will grant two complimentary accreditations to each participating project.

The call is aimed at production companies with headquarters in Europe.

Extension of the registration deadline

Due to the inquiries received during the last few weeks and the requests of producers from different countries interested in participating, Iberseries & Platino Industria has decided to extend the deadline for submitting projects until July 17, 2026.

With this extension, the organization seeks to facilitate the registration of European professionals and continue to promote the creation of strategic alliances for the development of audiovisual content with an international scope.

Once the professional accreditation process has been formalised, the registration of the projects must be carried out through the corresponding Professional Profile of Iberseries & Platino Industria.
