Iberseries & Platino Industria is the leading international meeting point for professionals in the Ibero-American audiovisual sector. It brings together platforms, television networks, creatives, production companies, distributors, buyers, investors, and other key industry players, as well as organizations linked to tourism, education, and new technologies applied to the audiovisual field.
 
Its objective is to boost the visibility and global reach of content in Spanish and Portuguese, foster connections between talent and industry, promote international co-production, and drive the financing and commercialization of projects, generating new business opportunities.
 
After five editions, the event has established itself as a key strategic reference, bringing together thousands of professionals and the most influential companies in the sector. A unique space that combines experience, innovation, and collaboration to strengthen the Ibero-American audiovisual ecosystem on a global scale.

Organizers

Iberseries & Platino Industria offers an extensive program of activities aimed at professionals, including Conferences, Keynotes and Spotlights, Iberscreenings, MAI (International Audiovisual Market) & Networking, Co-production and Financing Forum, Platform and Production Company Pitch Sessions, Training Workshops, Film Screenings and Education, as well as access to the Virtual Space, a private online area for all accredited participants.
It is driven by EGEDA (Audiovisual Producers’ Rights Management Entity) and Fundación Secuoya, with the support of FIPCA (Ibero-American Federation of Film and Audiovisual Producers), the Community of Madrid, and Madrid City Council. It is sponsored by Madrid Film Office and Film Madrid Region.

The partnership

Fundación Secuoya and EGEDA, in collaboration with FIPCA, strengthens its alliance to jointly promote Iberseries and Platino Industria. Both events, while maintaining their own distinct identity, once again come together under a shared agenda within the largest Ibero-American audiovisual gathering.
This collaboration consolidates a strategic space that enhances visibility, cooperation, and industry development, bringing together the sector’s key players in a shared environment for growth and opportunities.

Iberseries is an international audiovisual event organized by the Secuoya Foundation that focuses on Spanish-language series. It serves as a promotional platform where professionals can showcase their projects and forge cultural and economic ties that will help shape the future of the Spanish and Latin American industries.
The Secuoya Foundation’s main objectives are to promote and publicize activities related to the Spanish-language audiovisual industry and to support the professionals working in it. The organization also promotes and supports activities that objectively improve the audiovisual sector through professional and promotional initiatives, such as Iberseries, and by helping new professionals enter the workforce.
Platino Industria is the Ibero-American market for audiovisual media, tourism, and education, closely linked to the Platino Awards. Its purpose is to provide a platform for investment in audiovisual projects in Spanish and Portuguese, as well as to foster exchange and create opportunities for co-production, attracting film shoots, and the export of audiovisual products.
It is supported by EGEDA (Entidad de Gestión de Derechos de los Productores Audiovisuales), a nonprofit organization founded in 1990 that represents the interests of audiovisual producers by managing and defending their intellectual property rights, with a presence in Spain, Latin America, and the United States.
Together with FIPCA (Ibero-American Federation of Film and Audiovisual Producers), it carries out intensive and active work to promote culture and the dissemination and screening of Ibero-American audiovisual works. EGEDA and FIPCA host the annual Platino Awards, which recognize the best Ibero-American films and fiction series. EGEDA and FIPCA also promote Platino Industria and the Platino Educa educational platform.
