A screening space for series and film content —Capítulo UNO, Próximamente, Segunda Ventana and Showcase— featuring streaming platforms and production companies from Spain and Latin America. It is aimed at buyers interested in Spanish- and Portuguese-language productions for the global market.
A market and networking area linked to the Iberscreenings section, designed to boost the buying and selling of completed productions, the presentation of new content, and the premiere of audiovisual works in Spanish and Portuguese with international reach.
Platform and Production Company Pitch Sessions
Independent sessions for presenting serial and film projects in development, production, or work-in-progress stages, as well as projects seeking financing or packaging. These are presented to invited companies, potential producers, buyers, investors, and industry executives, with the aim of securing support, funding, collaboration, or sales.
Co-production and Financing Forum
A professional forum aimed at feature film, fiction series, docuseries, and animation projects in advanced development stages. Its goal is to facilitate connections with co-financing, distribution, and broadcasting partners, fostering the growth of high-potential projects.
Euro Atlantic Series Co-Pro Pitch
A new initiative launched with the aim of promoting the co-production and international distribution of European drama series, docu-series and animated programmes designed from the outset to reach audiences across borders and connect with global audiences. The programme seeks to strengthen cooperation between the countries of the European Atlantic axis, as well as with the Nordic countries and other territories with a strong Atlantic presence.
A professional platform designed to connect literary works with potential for audiovisual adaptation with producers, streaming platforms, studios, and other industry players. Its goal is to foster new opportunities for development, negotiation, and collaboration, promoting the transformation of intellectual property into audiovisual projects with international reach.
Iberseries & Platino Industria and Fundación SGAE join forces to bring projects developed through the TV Series Creation Lab closer to producers, buyers and key international audiovisual industry professionals, creating new opportunities for development and production.
Training Workshops
Iberseries & Platino Industria strengthens its commitment to training and the development of audiovisual talent with the sixth edition of the Showrunners Workshop, now firmly established as a space for learning and exchange among scripted series professionals.
The programme also introduces new specialised workshops, including “Thinking Like a Producer: Creative Business Strategy”, the “Practical Legal & Business Affairs Workshop for Producers and Creators”, and the “Artificial Intelligence Workshop for Creators: Enhancing Audiovisual Storytelling”.
Film & Education
A program of activities that uses cinema as a pedagogical tool for teaching and audiovisual literacy. It is aimed at students and educators, with the goal of fostering critical thinking and understanding audiovisual language as an educational resource.
