Iberseries & Platino Industria and Fundación SGAE join forces to bring projects developed through the TV Series Creation Lab closer to producers, buyers and key international audiovisual industry professionals, creating new opportunities for development and production.
Iberseries & Platino Industria and Fundación SGAE have signed a collaboration agreement to jointly organize a professional pitch session that will enable the writers participating in Fundación SGAE’s TV Series Creation Lab to present their projects to producers, buyers and leading representatives of the international audiovisual industry.
The initiative will take place within the framework of Iberseries & Platino Industria 2026, the leading professional event for the Ibero-American audiovisual industry, which each year brings together producers, distributors, platforms, broadcasters, sales agents and other industry professionals from Europe, Latin America and the United States.
As a result of this collaboration, the projects developed through Fundación SGAE’s TV Series Creation Lab will benefit from a strategic platform to connect with potential partners, investors and content executives, expanding their opportunities for production, financing and international exposure.
The pitch session will take place on October 1, 2026, at Matadero Madrid, as part of the official programme of Iberseries & Platino Industria 2026.
This agreement reinforces both organizations’ commitment to supporting audiovisual talent and creating opportunities that foster connections between creators and the industry. While Fundación SGAE develops training, promotion and support programmes for audiovisual writers and creators, Iberseries & Platino Industria continues to strengthen its position as the leading forum for business, networking and project development within the Ibero-American audiovisual industry.
Through this partnership, Iberseries & Platino Industria and Fundación SGAE contribute to strengthening the creative and business ecosystem for Spanish- and Portuguese-language audiovisual content, generating new opportunities for fiction projects to reach the international market.
