David Felipe Arranz (Valladolid, 1975) is a journalist, philologist, and comparative literature scholar. Since 2008, he has been a professor of journalism in the School of Humanities, Communication, and Documentation at Carlos III University in Madrid. He is the creator and director of the cultural magazine program “El Marcapáginas,” which has been on the air since 2000 and is currently broadcast by Radio Intereconomía; the program was awarded the 2018 Antena de Plata and the 2023 Bibliodiversity Award. He is the author of a dozen books on cinema and is a regular contributor to the programs “Secuencias en 24” on TVE’s Canal 24 Horas, “Cuarto Milenio” on Cuatro TV, “El programa de Cristina” on Castilla y León Televisión, “Classics” on Trece, and “Hoy es el día” on Onda Madrid. He writes about culture for *El Norte de Castilla*, *El Imparcial*, *El Asombrario* (in *Público*), and *The Objective*, among other publications.
