Notable productions include Emilio Carballido’s “Orinoco” and Víctor Salinas’s “Amoratados.” He holds a Master’s degree in Arts Management and Entrepreneurship from The New School College of Performing Arts. He served as executive director of the Grupo de Prevención Social Integral Artística Joven a Joven A.C. Currently, Guillermo Saldaña serves as executive director of the Mexico City Film Commission, an organization that, under his leadership, has propelled the Mexican capital to become the preferred filming destination in Latin America, attracting over $1.6 billion in investments in Mexico City’s audiovisual sector since December 2018 and developing public policies to make the city more welcoming to the audiovisual industry.
