With an investment capacity of up to €200 million, Aurora Media Inversiones draws on the experience and industry expertise of Secuoya Content Group, the initiative’s main industrial partner, to identify and support opportunities with growth potential. The fund is backed by the Spanish Society for Technological Transformation (SETT), a state-owned company under the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Administration, Secuoya Content Group, and Société Générale.
This operation is part of the second phase of the Spain Audiovisual Hub Plan, an initiative within Spain’s Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union through NextGenerationEU funds.
The session will provide an overview of the origins, strategy and objectives of Aurora Media Inversiones, as well as its investment model and the role of Secuoya Content Group in identifying and assessing opportunities. The discussion will explore how public-private collaboration, combined with an industry-driven approach, can help build more competitive companies, strengthen audiovisual production in Spain, and foster the creation of a major Spanish audiovisual content group with a strong European presence.
