Professional accreditations grant access to the industry programme, including conferences, keynotes and spotlights, Iberscreenings, the MAI market area, project calls, and networking activities.
Two major developments in the Platforms and Producers Pitch sessions define this edition: the incorporation of Telefe Studios and the launch of a dedicated call for vertical-format microseries in collaboration with Río Ancho.
In total, ten Pitch calls will connect Ibero-American projects with leading companies such as 3Pas Studios, Amazon MGM Studios, Ánima, BH5 Studios, Dopamine, HBO Max, as well as Río Ancho and Telefe Studios.
Iberseries & Platino Industria 2026 has opened the application period for professional accreditations and project submissions for the Platforms and Producers Pitch sessions of its sixth edition, to be held from September 29 to October 2, 2026, at Matadero Madrid.
Organized by EGEDA and Fundación Secuoya, in collaboration with FIPCA, the event once again receives support from the Comunidad de Madrid and the Ayuntamiento de Madrid, along with sponsorship from Madrid Film Office and Film Madrid Region, among other partner entities.
Established as the leading international gathering for Spanish- and Portugueselanguage audiovisual content, Iberseries & Platino Industria will bring together professionals from across the value chain—creators, producers, financiers, buyers, investors, broadcasters, platforms, distributors, and other industry stakeholders—to foster co-production, financing, and the global circulation of Ibero-American content.
Over four days, the event will offer a comprehensive programme including conferences, keynotes and spotlights, Iberscreenings, the International Audiovisual Market (MAI), exclusive professional activities such as the CoProduction and Financing Forum, Platforms and Producers Pitch sessions, training workshops, and a wide range of networking initiatives.

Professional Accreditations
Professional accreditation provides access to the full programme of activities and enables participation in the various project calls.
Available in both on-site and virtual formats, accreditation also grants access to a private virtual platform featuring a participants directory to facilitate contact and voluntary meeting scheduling, as well as on-demand access to key conferences and content following their live sessions.
Early bird rates will be available until June 11. Accreditation applications can be submitted online from today until October 2, 2026, via the official event website, where the full application process is detailed.

Platforms and Producers Pitch Calls
This edition of the Platforms and Producers Pitch introduces two key developments: the addition of Telefe Studios, the international development, production, and distribution arm of Argentina’s Telefe network; and a dedicated call for verticalformat microseries in partnership with Río Ancho, a production company based in Argentina and Uruguay specializing in new formats.
The Pitch sessions are designed to connect audiovisual projects at different stages—from early development to work in progress or financing— with leading industry companies.
Through ten open calls, selected projects will be presented in private sessions to production companies, platforms, investors, and industry executives, with the aim of advancing their development, financing, or commercialisation.
Participating companies include 3Pas Studios, Amazon MGM Studios, Ánima, BH5 Studios, Dopamine, HBO Max, as well as Río Ancho and Telefe Studios.
The calls are open to creators, directors, producers, and showrunners linked to Ibero-America, who may submit feature films and series projects across fiction, animation, or documentary, including emerging formats such as vertical microseries.
Each of the ten open calls has specific eligibility criteria that applicants must meet prior to submission. Up to 20 projects will be selected per call.
Submission requirements can be consulted in the respective call guidelines, as well as in the general Pitch participant regulations. Accredited participants may submit up to three different projects per call.
A single project may be submitted to a maximum of two different Pitch calls, provided it meets the profile and specific requirements of each—except in the case of the Río Ancho call.
The submission deadline is April 23 at 14:00 (GMT+2). Registration must be completed through the professional profile enabled on the official website once the accreditation process has been finalised.
