Iberseries & Platino Industria launches Euro Atlantic Series Co-Pro Pitch 2026 to promote European co-productions with global reach

In 2026, Iberseries & Platino Industria launches the Euro Atlantic Series Co-Pro Pitch, an initiative created with the aim of promoting the co-production and international circulation of European fiction series, docuseries, and animation conceived from the outset to travel across territories and connect with global audiences.

The programme seeks to strengthen cooperation among countries along the European Atlantic axis: Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Ireland, Germany, and Luxembourg, as well as with the Nordic countries and other European territories with a strong Atlantic outlook, such as the United Kingdom.

The call will select a maximum of 7 series projects in an advanced stage of development, with particular attention to those demonstrating clear international co-production potential, a solid financing strategy, and strong prospects for global circulation.

Participating projects will gain access to an exclusive two-day program of mentorships, specialized advisory sessions, and personalized one-to-one meetings with key decision-makers from the international audiovisual industry. In addition, selected projects will deliver a final pitch before a specialized audience of commissioners, investment funds, and potential strategic partners.

The selection committee for this first edition will include renowned professionals from the European audiovisual industry, among them Laura Miñarro, VP of International Business and Co-Production at Buendía Estudios (Spain); Diego del Pozo, Fiction Manager at Atresmedia Televisión (Spain); José Fragoso, Director of Programming at RTP1 and RTP Internacional (Portugal); and Georges Huercano, Development and Co-Production Manager at RTL (Belgium).

All stages of the program (registration, materials, meetings, and presentations) must be conducted entirely in English.

To support in-person participation, the organization will cover travel and accommodation expenses for one representative per selected project and will grant two complimentary accreditations to each participating project.

The call is aimed at production companies headquartered in Europe and will remain open until Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 16:00h (GMT+2).

Once the professional accreditation process has been completed, project submissions must be made through the following link to the Professional Profile.
