Iberseries & Platino Industria, the leading international event for professionals in the Spanish- and Portuguese-language audiovisual industry, opens the call for applications to participate in the Workshop “Artificial Intelligence for Creators: Enhancing Audiovisual Storytelling”, a practical session designed to explore the possibilities offered by new AI technologies to boost creativity and transform content creation processes.
The workshop will take place on Thursday October 1, 2026 as part of the sixth edition of Iberseries & Platino Industria, which will be held from September 29 to October 2 at Matadero Madrid.
The session will be led by Concepción Díaz, Head of AI Trainings for the EMEA region at Google, a professional with extensive experience in training and the application of artificial intelligence in professional and creative environments.
During the session, the main artificial intelligence tools available to creators and audiovisual professionals will be addressed from a practical and interactive perspective, with special attention to the Google and YouTube ecosystem.
AI applied to audiovisual creation
The workshop aims to provide producers, screenwriters, creators and other professionals in the Ibero-American fiction audiovisual industry with knowledge and tools that will enable them to incorporate artificial intelligence effectively and strategically into their professional activity.
The initiative is especially aimed at professionals who already have prior experience using AI tools and seek to explore their possibilities in greater depth to enhance storytelling and creative processes.

To participate, applicants must hold a professional accreditation for Iberseries & Platino Industria, which must be validated at the time of registration. Interested applicants may register until Thursday September 10, 2026 through the virtual platform for accredited participants.
“Artificial Intelligence for Creators: Enhancing Audiovisual Storytelling” will be held exclusively in person and will have a maximum of 30 participants, who will be selected based on their level of experience and order of registration.
