Iberseries & Platino Industria announces the projects selected to participate in the workshop “Thinking Like a Producer: Creative Business Strategy”

The workshop, led by producer Leonardo Zimbrón, will bring together Ibero-American audiovisual industry professionals at Matadero Madrid to work on creative strategies, business models and the development of fiction projects with a market-oriented vision.

Iberseries & Platino Industria announces the selection of the projects that will participate in the workshop “Thinking Like a Producer: Creative Business Strategy”, a new activity joining the programme of the event’s sixth edition, which will be held in person at Matadero Madrid over two days.

The training is designed to strengthen the development of audiovisual projects from a creative, industrial and market perspective, providing producers, directors, screenwriters and executives working in development with tools to enhance their projects and devise business models adapted to the current context of the Ibero-American market.

The workshop will be led by Leonardo Zimbrón, a producer with extensive experience in film and television and current SVP of Co-Production at 3Pas Studios, the production company founded by Eugenio Derbez and Ben Odell. Throughout his career, Zimbrón has worked with companies and platforms such as Warner Bros., Sony Pictures, Netflix and Amazon MGM Studios, participating in productions including Nosotros los Nobles, Club de Cuervos and Cada Minuto Cuenta.

The programme will be divided into two thematic sessions: “Creative Strategy in Development – Market Vision from Day 1”, focused on strengthening projects from their earliest stages by incorporating elements with commercial and audience potential; and “Business Models”, dedicated to reviewing traditional and emerging approaches to financing, producing and positioning audiovisual projects in the international market.
