The fifth edition of the Co-Production and Financing Forum will bring together in Madrid a selection of 20 series and feature film projects in development from 14 countries, joined by three invited projects through collaboration agreements established with renowned international markets and festivals such as BIF Market, Serielizados and Ventana Sur.
Iberseries & Platino Industria has announced the projects that will participate in the Co-Production and Financing Forum of its sixth edition (fifth edition of the Forum), an initiative aimed at series and feature film projects in an advanced stage of development that seeks to facilitate access to financing, the search for partners and the creation of international co-production alliances.
As a strategic meeting point for the audiovisual industry, the Forum connects producers, studios, platforms, distributors, sales agents, funds and international investors with projects of high creative and industrial potential from Ibero-America, Europe and North America.
This year’s edition has selected 20 projects from 14 countries: Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Spain, the United States, France, Italy, Mexico, Panama, Portugal and Uruguay. These are joined by three invited projects, included through the collaboration agreements that Iberseries & Platino Industria maintains with prestigious international markets and festivals, further strengthening the Forum’s global reach and the synergies among the leading audiovisual development platforms.

The broad representation of countries and the strong presence of international co-productions confirm the consolidation of the Co-Production and Financing Forum as one of the leading platforms for the development of audiovisual projects and the creation of global partnerships.
With the participation of projects linking Europe, Latin America and the United States, Iberseries & Platino Industria continues to strengthen its role as the leading event for the Spanish- and Portuguese-language audiovisual industry, fostering international business and collaboration opportunities.
Impact on the international audiovisual industry
The evolution of numerous projects that have participated in previous editions reflects the role of the Co-Production and Financing Forum as a driving force for new opportunities in development, production and international cooperation.
Among the selected projects that have already been produced or released are the feature films Hangar Rojo, by Villano Producciones (Chile); Pepita la Pistolera, by Zeppelin (Argentina); Caza y Pesca, by Sueko Films and Murdoc (Uruguay and Argentina); El aspirante, by Smiz and Pixel (Spain); and Los sueños que compartimos, by Salamandra Producciones (Mexico), as well as the series Isla Oculta, by Río Estudios (Chile), and Es Amor, by Coral Cine (Uruguay), both of which premiered at Iberseries & Platino Industria.
These titles are joined by other success stories such as El peligro de quererte, by Parox S.A. (Chile); La Orquestita, by APUS Animación y Contenido (Peru); Frágiles, by Storylab (Argentina); Los relatos, by Aquí y Allí Films (Spain and Romania); Aguas Pasadas, by TV ON Producciones and Caracol Studios (Portugal and Spain); and Patagonia. Lo que esconde el paraíso, by Atlantika Films and María Wood Producciones (Chile and Spain, with the participation of ZDF), projects that have continued to advance through their production processes and international circulation. Some of them also plan to present new materials or previews at the upcoming edition of Iberseries & Platino Industria.
Iberseries & Platino Industria will hold its sixth edition from September 29 to October 2, 2026, at Matadero Madrid, organized by EGEDA and Fundación Secuoya, in collaboration with FIPCA. The event is supported by Madrid Film Office and Madrid Film Region, among other partner organizations.
