Fernanda is a multifaceted Chilean actress, producer, and screenwriter. After studying Performing Arts at Duoc UC and participating in Alfredo Castro’s “Escuela de la Memoria,” she began her acting career in the series “16” in 2003 and is considered one of the most important actresses of her generation in Chile. She has appeared in series such as “Bala Loca” (2015), and since moving to Los Angeles in 2016, she has starred in major productions including “Narcos: Mexico” (2018–19) and “Cry Macho” (2021), directed by Clint Eastwood, as well as in the remakes of “Party of Five” (2020) and “Gossip Girl” (2022). Her latest film in the U.S. was “You Can’t Run Forever,” alongside actor J.K. Simmons. Fernanda co-wrote the screenplay for “La vaca que cantó una canción hacia futuro,” directed by Francisca Alegría, and is currently the showrunner, screenwriter, and actress on “La casa de los espíritus,” produced by Filmation and Amazon Studios (2026).
